Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Photo mode: Where to get the camera

How to take pictures in Tears of the Kingdom

You get the camera in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom after you leave the starting zone and have landed in Hyrule. So you’ll have to complete the tutorial first, which is the sky island with the first four shrines.

Once you’ve finished those you’ll be given the ability to leave the temple of time and head to the main game, and crucially Lookout Landing. Here you should look for Robbie. He’s a scientist that hangs around near the workshop next to the Skyview tower in Lookout Landing.

Speak to him enough times and he’ll give you the quest ‘Camera Work in the Depths.” Then head to the marker on your map and you’ll be lead to a chasm which lets you into the depths for what is likely your first visit.

Once there follow the campfires that you can see leading you further into the depths and you’ll reunite with Robbie who’ll speak to you about taking pictures of all of the creatures in the game and that’s how you get the camera in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, thus unlocking photomode.

Once you’ve taken the picture you can save it to your album, but we warned that the images that are saved to the album are weirdly blurry.
