Best 2v2v2v2 Arena Mode Team Comps to Play in League of Legends

9 months ago 2262

The Arena mode, which is an amalgamation of Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and League of Legends, will be released on 20th July along with the big 2023 Summer Event: Soul Fighter. Players have already been grinding this fun game mode on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) and now that the mode is almost here on the live client, it is important to understand how it works. The Arena mode is very straightforward. Players are offered a simple system where they engage in many battles against other duos without having to farm, save gold, buy items, and scale up. Arena Mode is action-packed and picking the right champions is necessary to step onto the battlefield.

Here are the five best team comps you need to try with your duo partner in Arena mode or the 2v2v2v2 Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode.

5 Best Comps to Try in Arena Mode in League of Legends

Here are some comps that have worked really well in Arena mode in League of Legends:

Samira + Rell

Samira and Rell as a team work very well together, thanks to their insane synergy. Their ability to chain CC (crowd control) the opponent is one of the many reasons why they are OP (overpowered) in Arena mode. While Samira dashes in and dishes out all the damage, Rell can engage, stun, and tank the enemy duo.

Rell

The way this comp works is straightforward. Rell engages and locks the enemy with her CC and Samira dashes in to do damage and additional CC. After further auto-attacks, Samira can unleash her ultimate spell and do AOE (area of effect) damage.

Lulu + Twitch/Vayne

This is another classic bot lane pick. It is a well-known fact that Twitch does well with enchanters, and Lulu is one of the strongest enchanters there is. While she provides protection to Twitch, the attack damage carry (ADC) can proceed to kill the two opponents. This same logic applies to Vayne as well. It is important to note that Lulu’s utilities are important to keep the carry alive and deal damage since there is no hard CC in these comps. The only CC you might have is Lulu’s W or the Polymorph.

PROJECT Master Yi

Remember the classic funnel comp with jungler Master Yi and mid-lane Taric on Summoner’s Rift? Well, it is back and this time on the Arena mode. All you have to do is use Taric’s W on Yi and keep auto attacking the enemy to get infinite heals for you and your carry. However, you need to hit your E or the stun so that it is easier for the Yi to follow up and kill the enemies.

Taric + Kayle

Just like how Taric works with Master Yi, he is a perfect pair for Kayle. In the late-game rounds, this comp is basically invincible. Taric and Kayle will have a very high damage output and also have the option to remain invulnerable, thanks to their Ultimate spells. This comp scales well, has enough sustain, and is very hard to take down. Therefore, this is a must-try comp and combo if you are trying to gain more rank points in Arena mode.

Mordekaiser + Kha’Zix

While on paper this duo might look odd, they work really well in the Arena mode. Players need to make use of Mordekaiser’s Ultimate and Kha’Zix isolation bonus damage to make this work. While Mordekaiser uses his R and takes away one of the enemy players, Kha’Zix can then all-in the other remaining champion. You can either take the tank away as the Mordekaiser and allow Kha’Zix to kill the carry or you can take away the carry and kill them yourself with your bonuses inside your ult. You can figure this strategy out as you progress through the many rounds of Arena.
