PS5 God of War Ragnarök console bundles have been discounted by £40 in the UK

UK retailers have discounted PlayStation 5 God of War Ragnarök console bundles by £40.

Normally priced at £539.99, the bundle including a standard PS5 console is currently widely available for just under £500, representing around a 7% saving.

At the time of publishing, BT is offering a particularly noteworthy deal, which includes the PS5 God of War Ragnarök console bundle and an extra DualSense controller for £499.99.

On Sony’s PlayStation Direct store, the PS5 Digital Edition God of War Ragnarök console bundle is also down from £450 to £410. The offers launched on Sunday and will be available until April 16.

The UK deals coincide with recently launched US offers which have seen retailers discount God of War Ragnarök console bundles by $50.

VGC’s God of War Ragnarök review labelled the multi-award-winning title one of the best PlayStation games ever.

In February, Sony claimed that God of War Ragnarök sales surpassed 11 million copies in the first 10 weeks after its release, “making it the fastest selling first-party title ever”.

In January, Sony signalled that PS5’s long battle with supply issues was finally over, and the company has said it expects the console to smash PS4’s sales record for the first three months of a calendar year.

“PS5 supply improved towards the end of last year, and I’m happy to share that December was the biggest month ever for PS5 console sales, and that we’ve now sold more than 30 million units through to consumers worldwide,” PlayStation boss Jim Ryan said. “Everyone who wants a PS5 should have a much easier time finding one at retailers globally starting from this point forward.”
