Live A Live Brings Classic RPG To PS4 & PS5 In April 2023, Demo Now Available

Square Enix has announced that classic SNES RPG Live A Live is coming to PS4 & PS5 on April 27, 2023, following its debut on Nintendo Switch earlier this year.

Live A Live was originally released on the SNES back in the 90s and this remake is produced by that version’s original director, Takashi Tokita, who also worked on Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV. Live A Live returns on modern platforms with HD-2D technology that marries pixel art with modern visuals, as well as a rearranged soundtrack created under supervision of original composer, Yoko Shimomura.

The Playstation Store is currently offering a playable demo of Live A Live now that offers players the chance to play the opening moments of three stories: The Wild West, Twilight of Edo Japan, and The Distant Future.

Live A Live is scheduled for release on April 27, 2023 for PS4, PS5, and PC.
