1

Collect Trash Bags during runs

In addition to the usual gold bars, gems, dynamite sticks, and power-ups, you’ll seeTrash Bags scattered around each running world for the duration of the Restore the Planet event. They’re bright pink and marked with a recycling symbol, so you can’t miss ‘em.  These Trash Bags can be recycled for various rewards, so aim to collect as many as possible. They’re in every main world and side world, but you won’t find them in race mode. And every day between 12:00 and 15:00, all Trash Bags will Double Up, so you’ll be able to collect two at a time.

2

Recycle plastic for bonus Trash Bags

In addition to the pink Trash Bags, you’ll sometimes see discarded plastic lying on the road. A sad sight but one you can quickly rectify by kicking the plastic into a recycling container marked with a bullseye. Run into the plastic and you’ll kick it at the bullseye and into the container, which will earn you a handful of bonus Trash Bags.

3

Win Trash bags on the reward wheel

On the game’s home screen, there’s a treasure chest bursting with coins, gems, dynamites, and Trash Bags. Tap this then watch an ad all the way to the end, and you’ll be rewarded with a chance to spin the reward wheel. Tap the SPIN IT button and wait to see which prize it stops on. The good news is that during the Restore the Planet event, you get two prizes every time — one regular prize, plus an additional bonus quantity of Trash Bags.

4

Exchange dynamites for Trash Bags

In Talking Tom Gold Run, dynamites are usually used to blow open vaults. However, during the Restore the Planet event, players have the option to exchange them for Trash Bags. To do so, tap the Trash Bag button located at the top of the home screen, which will direct you to the Restore the Planet screen, then scroll down and click the button for the amount you wish to exchange.

5

Recycle your Trash Bags, clean the planet, and get rewards

If you’ve collected enough Trash Bags to meet your next target, you can tap the CLEAN button on the Restore the Planet screen to recycle your Trash Bags, clean the planet, and earn a reward. Rewards include gems, dynamites, power-ups, and outfits, including the new Eco Angela outfit.

BONUS TIP!

Inspire others by picking up trash and sharing their efforts using the campaign hashtag #RERERE. Keep an eye on Talking Tom’s social media for a special code, redeemable after the Green Game Jam for extra gold bars to boost your progress!

6

Clean up some garbage

The process of converting the friends' waste into seeds and plant nourishment starts by having a friend locate and dispose of some nearby organic garbage. You may see a friend with a recycling symbol in their thought bubble, indicating they're willing to help. Tap on the thought bubble, and they'll go to the nearest garbage pile to begin the cleanup. You can wait about a minute for them to finish, or speed it up by watching an ad. Once finished, a bubble will appear above their head with bus tokens, friendship passes, and a recycling symbol. Tapping this bubble will give you the rewards - three packs of organic vegetable seeds and three bottles of plant food.

7

Plant the seeds

To start growing vegetables, tap the "Plant!" button on the rewards pop-up to go directly to the garden. Alternatively, you can select a character and tap the garden (or drag them onto the garden), then tap the gamepad button above their head to start gardening. Finally, tap the packs of seeds on the left side (or drag them onto the garden) to plant them.

8

Grow and harvest your veggies

After planting your seeds, they'll slowly begin to grow. However, you can speed up the process by applying some organic fertiliser. Simply tap the bottle or drag it directly onto your plants to help them grow faster. This may be enough to fully grow your plants, but if not, you can water them briefly with the hose. Once they're fully grown, tap the vegetables to harvest them and add them to your refrigerator.

9

Feed the veggies to the friends

Next time one of the friends gets hungry you’ll be able to feed them the fresh, organic vegetables you helped them to grow in their own garden. To seat them at the table, you can drag them there, select a character and tap the table, or tap the knife and fork speech bubble if it appears. Once a character is seated, tap the blue knife and fork button. Then use the yellow arrows to scroll through the available foods and find the fresh veggies you grew. Tap on them or drag them to a seated character to feed them.

10

REplay, REgrow, and REuse

After the friends have eaten, more garbage will appear on the floor somewhere in the house, and you can continue the whole cycle again. That’s the cool thing about the Regrow Your Food event — it goes full circle, and you’re doing something positive at every step of the way. Cleaning up produces seeds and plant food, planting the seeds creates food, and eating the food creates more garbage to clean up. During this event, the friends will always be busy, and will always be well fed!

BONUS TIP!

Inspire others by growing your own food and starting a home garden, and share your efforts with the hashtag #RERERE. Keep an eye on Talking Tom’s social media for a special code to get 5,000 coins in My Talking Tom Friends, redeemable after the Green Game Jam! Use them for seeds, outfits, and more.

So now that you're equipped with the tips you need, be sure to download Talking Tom Gold Run and My Talking Tom Friends today to REplay, REgrow, and REuse!
