Xbox Live Is Down

2 days ago 26

Xbox Live, a service that acts as a gateway to most, if not all games on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles, has officially crashed, leaving thousands to flock to X (formerly known as Twitter) to seek a viable solution.

According to the official Xbox Live Support X, the team is currently “investigating” the outage, which means that, while the servers are currently preventing users from not only accessing online functions, but also offline and store-related features, too, the issue itself will be working towards a global fix as soon as possible. As for how long this turnaround will be, however, is still something of a mystery.

Our investigation is taking longer than expected, thank you for your patience and reports! We'll continue to update here and on our status page, https://t.co/kQKp1MgssY https://t.co/nNYKQKZcxL

From the sounds of it, the outage isn't only happening in certain areas of the world, either; in fact, various reports have made it clear that countless regions are currently struggling to access the network, including the UK, Brazil, Russia, and the Netherlands. It seems, then, that while Xbox Live Support is claiming that “some” users are currently facing connection issues, the vast majority of the platform is also suffering from the exact same fate. In other words, Xbox Live is down, and is therefore impossible to access until the folks over at Microsoft unveil a solution. Fingers crossed we'll be hearing more soon.
