Furina and Charlotte Are New Genshin Impact Characters Teased for 4.2

HoYoVerse teased the two “new” Genshin Impact characters Charlotte and Hydro Archon Furina ahead of 4.2. It seems they’ll be the new additions to the roster when the next update appears. This meant new official art for both characters, as well as some details about their element. The announcement didn’t mention their rarities, though we already know Furina will be a five-star unit.

First, we’ve known about Charlotte in Genshin Impact since 3.7. She wasn’t a playable character, but she played a big part in the event added in that update.  The Steambird newspaper editor-in-chief is known as the Lens of Verity. Her Constellation is Hualina Veritas, and she has a Cryo vision.

As for Furina, she’s a new Genshin Impact character who first showed up in the 4.0 update’s Archon Quests. She’s the Hydro Archon. As such, her gnosis and powers are Hydro. Her title is Endless Solo of Solitude, and she’s also referred to as the Regina of All Waters, Kindreds, Peoples and Laws. Her Constellation is Animula Choragi.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.1 update is about to arrive on September 27, 2023.
