Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady have launched a new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video series alongside pre-orders for the game.

Viewable below, the first episode of ‘Suicide Squad Insider’ covers the game’s main story, the Squad’s traversal mechanics, and offers a peek at the world of Metropolis.

Billed as a “genre-bending action-adventure shooter” set in an open-world Metropolis, Suicide Squad was announced in August 2020 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Playable solo or with up to four players in online co-op, the game’s original story follows Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, who are on a mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, the Justice League.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was originally planned for release in 2022, but last May the game’s release was pushed back to spring 2023.

A May 2023 release date was later announced, before the title was delayed again, this time to February 2, 2024.

News of the most recent delay was announced two months after a 15-minute Suicide Squad showing attracted criticism from some fans due to the game’s live service elements, such as the requirement to play online even in single-player mode.

The presentation also confirmed that the game would feature a battle pass, which Rocksteady claimed would only contain cosmetic items. Post-game support including new characters and missions was also announced.

Warner has also confirmed the game’s PC system requirements, which are as follows:
