New Rumours About Toys For Bob's Next Game Surface Online

Following a report last week about Xbox and the now-indie studio Toys for Bob reaching an agreement on a new game, there's now a new rumour doing the rounds about what this game might be.

This information comes from the Crash and Spyro YouTube channel 'Canadian Guy Eh', which claims the next title is Spyro the Dragon 4. At this year's Game Developers Conference, he apparently found out the game has been in active development since the beginning of this year (so it would still be the very early stages of development).

"Spyro 4 is in development. That's a statement. No theory crafting, no evidence-based assumption, no conspiracy theories or even a heavy-handed hint. Spyro 4 is in development. Period."

Toys for Bob previously told fans during its indie studio announcement to keep their "horns on", which was seen as a subtle reference to Spyro at the time. Earlier this year it also did a cryptic social media post with an image of Spyro and the words "you gotta believe!".

In the latest Windows Central report, it was claimed the next title from Toys for Bob in partnership with Xbox would be similar to the titles it has made in the past, which seemingly narrowed it down to another Crash or Spyro game. For now, though, this is just a rumour and there's been no official confirmation.
