Netflix’s Splinter Cell Deathwatch Receives Teaser Trailer, Stars Liev Schreiber As Sam Fisher

Netlfix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Splinter Cell: Deathwatch animated series, which will star Liev Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Scream 2 etc) as Sam Fisher.

The streaming giant has yet to release a synopsis for its Splinter Cell show, but it has been stated that it will follow “a black ops agent working for a US government division called the Fourth Echelon.” The series is the brainchild of Ubisoft Film and Sun Creature and Fost, and is penned by Derek Kolstad of John Wick fame.

The Splinter Cell series has been on ice for more than a decade now, although Ubisoft Toronto is working on a full remake of the original game using Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine. The game is in production for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and is currently without a release date.
