Earn Alliance, a torchbearer in the web3 space, has just this moment launched Ally Pass, a brand-new platform that will allow game developers to broaden their reach by offering exclusive in-game rewards and, from the sounds of it, companions known as Magic Muffins. To learn a bit more about all of this, I caught up with Earn Alliance founder and CEO Joseph “Coop” Cooper.
Thanks for taking the time to speak with us! Please could you introduce yourself to our readers? Who are you, and what brought you to the conception of Earn Alliance?
Coop: I’m Coop – a serial entrepreneur that has built 5 businesses and had the honor to exit two of them thus far. Earn Alliance was a side project between my brothers playing with Axie Infinity assets which then turned into the largest web3 game discovery and engagement platform. Finding crypto games is hard today, and our site makes that simple and enables games to engage with relevant gamers and vise versa!
Speaking of Earn Alliance — please could you tell us a bit more about it? How did it all come together, and what inspired the team to plant roots in the web3 ecosystem?
Coop: We believe crypto games can connect games to their passion in life through competitive and literally rewarding games that enable folks to earn casual rewards through their favorite games. This thesis is what got us building Earn Alliance to help enable folks to discover and games to find their fans. It all came together after playing crypto games ourselves and meeting hundreds of folks in the space to find that it’s a niche in the game industry that will blossom once the right minds come together. On Earn Alliance, you can find games, and games can engage you to check them out enticing rewards be it crypto or traditional digital ones.
Could you tell us about some of the work that you do at Earn Alliance, as well as some of the successful projects that you’ve managed to elevate in the past?
Coop: We have worked with everyone from Axie Infinity, Pixels, Gods Unchained, Apeiron – you name it. We bring users to test new games, crypto wallets, blockchains and more through education and rewarding opportunities and our clients pay only when the jobs done. Unlike facebook ads or CPI campaigns (cost per install) folks can literally show up and disappear without signing up at all! We ensure our gamers get to taste the client’s product before deciding to walk away.

Tell us a bit about the launch of Ally Pass. What’s the story here, and how exactly will it affect active players and developers?
Coop: Ally Pass enables gamers to feel a sense of progression within our ecosystem. It also has become a vehicle for our new IP, Magic Muffins, which will be used across the platform and other products we offer. Leaderboards have never been my personal interests as our competitors and other platforms only provide a “ladder” for people to climb and with the limited amount of time I have, I will always be in 100,000th+ place on the board. Ally Pass brings the traditional Battle Pass mechanics, enabling folks to engage in bite-sized missions or big ones and progress to level up their pass to the next tier and win rewards! It’s important to us to give gamers a sense of progression and the ability to guarantee a reward for someone in exchange for their time. Raffles and leaderboards don’t do that justice and we believe Ally Pass is the best way engage users for the long run.
And then there’s the so-called Magic Muffins, too. Could you tell us about how these work? What are they, and what should players know before collecting their own?
Coop: Magic Muffins are digital collectibles on Earn Alliance. In September, the public release of the Telegram Game will be available where you can level up your muffins and battle sugar addicted enemies and traverse many worlds throughout the universe. Legendary 5 star muffins will be mintable in the future, enabling our community to literally bake a collection together through play. Just like Bored Apes, each minted muffin will be a unique combination of toppings, flavors, face, armor and a weapon and no other person can mint the same combination once it’s done. These muffins will access end game content and get special perks as the story around the Muffins continues to evolve.
Do you have any tips for those who are looking to evolve their own Magic Muffin companions or are simply aiming to earn a few rewards?
Coop: Participate in discovering games on Earn Alliance and play the magic muffin mini game on Telegram in September to compete for not only rewards, but join the fun in minting your own muffin. The experience will be user friendly enabling traditional gamers to enjoy the process of exploring blockchain assets. So, what’s next for Earn Alliance? Do you have any plans to introduce any new features or reward programs to the web3 community over the coming months or years?
Coop: Earn Alliance’s ally pass will be available for game developers to launch their own both on our website and white-label it on theirs! For gamers, our wall feed is going to be personalized with AI recommendations and content digests and will be the ultimate source to discover games that would interest you based on your gamer history no matter what platform you play on. We hope that Earn Alliance will be a place where you will have no doubt to be in touch with the entire industry’s news and opportunities to participate in new and existing games.
