Elden Ring Movie/TV Adaptation Potentially Teased By George R.R. Martin

Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, who collaborated with FromSoftware on Elden Ring, may have teased that a movie or TV adaptation of the critically acclaimed fantasy title is in the works.

Speaking in his latest blog post, Martin mention how the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association issued Elden Ring with the Nebula Awards for Game Writing, and then followed up with a tease about a possible adaptation.

I did the worldbuilding for that project, Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team did all the rest. Oh, and about those rumors you may have heard about a feature film or television series based on Elden Ring… I have nothing to say. Not a word, nope, not a thing, I know nothing, you never heard a peep from me, mum mum mum. What rumor?

Elden Ring creator Hidetaka Miyazaki said recently that he wasn’t at all against the idea of an adaptation of the fantasy epic, and admitted that there has been interest in such a project.
