eFootball releases first update of the new season with a sea of content

• Contract limits have been removed and there are options for automatic player progression
• New Booster Slot features added to improve stats

Konami has just released a brand new update for eFootball, which brings a tonne of content to the popular sports game. This patch is packed with content, and it is quite a big one given that is the first update for the 2024/25 season. Expect to see the addition of numerous new features alongside loads of interesting campaigns you can participate in. 

eFootball’s latest season begins with several in-game improvements that will make your gameplay experience feel even better. Contract limits have been completely abolished, meaning you can continue to use all your players regardless of when you signed them. Even the players with expired contracts are coming back, ensuring you miss out on no one.

Player progression receives a big update too as more options for automation have been added. If you're someone who finds tinkering with stats a bit too much, then you can let the system handle all the complexities of player upgrades so you can just focus on enjoying. On top of that, you can reset progression whenever you want without spending any extra GP.

Another small change to player attributes is the new Booster Slot, which allows some extra improvements. Choose either Random or Select Booster Tokens and customise your players using one of the 17 available Booster types. Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Ludovic Giuly, and Deco will all appear as Epic cards in these Booster Slots.

On the less technical side, you can enjoy all the new campaigns that are coming to eFootball as well. Complete the Skill Up tutorial to win a Showtime Messi card alongside a bunch of other rewards. There’s also a Startup campaign and some Tour Events to take part in. Finally, you will find your favourites, Messi and Neymar, in the Ambassador Edition of the game.
