Xbox Dev Ninja Theory To Host 'A Journey Of The Mind' Live Event For Hellblade 2

Hellblade 2 is out on Xbox next month, and to highlight some of the game's themes and overall ties to mental health, developer Ninja Theory has a special live event planned for tomorrow, April 9th.

'Hellblade: A Journey of the Mind' is a collaboration between the development team and its nearby University of Cambridge - a collaboration set to explore "the next step on her [Senua's] mental health journey". Here's a bit more about what the live event will entail:

"Just as we did in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice we have once again worked closely with our expert partners to bring Senua’s experience to life in a truthful way.

We’d like to invite you to hear more about this unique partnership and journey into the mind of Senua in a special live event on Tuesday April 9. This collaboration between Ninja Theory and Cambridge Neuroscience will explore the perspectives of both those who have experienced psychosis, and those who work to study and treat it. You will also hear from the Ninja Theory team who will expand upon how we applied these learnings to our games."

Hosted live in Cambridge, UK, the event livestream kicks off on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST tomorrow, April 9th. Once this event wraps up, you won't have long to wait for the game itself - Hellblade 2's release date is locked in for May 21st on Xbox Game Pass.
