Epic Games’ Fortnite has become synonymous with intriguing collaborations across various industries, including several brands, gaming studios, movies, celebrities, and more. These collaborations have resulted in hundreds of outfits, game modes, and other cosmetic accessories for players to stylize their characters. Considering the release of the highly anticipated sequel of Dune, numerous fans are eagerly expecting a new set of skins to complement the existing outfits from the first movie. Without further ado, let’s delve into all the possibilities of another Fortnite X Dune collaboration.
What Did the First Fortnite X Dune Collab Bring to the Table?
The Dune Bundle was first released in Fortnite on 20th October 2021, a day before the release of Denis Villeneuve's Dune starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya. This was part of the game’s Chapter 2 Season 8 and contains many cosmetic items such as:
Chani Epic Outfit
Epic Chani’s Satchel Back Bling
Paul Atreides Epic Outfit
Fremkit Epic Back Bling
The Stickworm Uncommon Loading Screen
While the Chani and Paul Atreides outfits could be purchased for 1,500 V-Bucks each, the entire bundle was available for purchase for 2,000 V-Bucks. Additionally, Epic Games also released a standalone Dune Gear Bundle for 1,500 V-Bucks which featured the following items:

Are These Skins Returning to the Item Shop for the Dune: Part Two?
Although the prospect of new Dune-themed gear seems exciting, it's important to note that the first Dune Bundles were released a day before the movie’s worldwide screening. The sequel premiered globally yesterday (March 1), and neither the outfit nor the gear bundle has been brought back to Fortnite’s Item Shop.
As of now, no official communication has been made regarding any new Dune skins or the return of the older cosmetics to the in-game store, which has disappointed many gamers who are also fans of the Sci-Fi. These are the contents of the Item Shop today (March 2, 2024):
Observing past trends, items from gaming or movie franchises do not seem to return to the Item Shop. An example of this would be the Kratos skin, which was not available for purchase when the God of War (GOW) PC port or even when its sequel, GOW Ragnarok, was launched. The same could be said for Street Fighter (SF) outfits when SF6 was released. Although the likelihood of new Dune skins appearing is low, there's still a possibility for existing outfits to return to the store, but ultimately, only the Fortnite developers know for sure.
