Think of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League like Apex Legends or Genshin Impact where the characters’ differences are more about different ways to experience the game and less about tanks and healers. - Harley Quinn – Quick, close quarters, aerial support
- Captain Boomerang – Ranged assassin, stealthy ambusher
- King Shark – Ballistic tank, ground support
- Deadshot – Sharpshooter, air superiority
Harley Quinn plays the most like Batman in the old Arkham games. She’s a jack-of-all-trades with great weapons for up close and medium ranges. She can hang on her grapple to attack enemies below.
Captain Boomerang can easily get behind enemy lines with his ability to teleport. Like Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang is great if you want to play ranged because he has a sniper rifle and is excellent at close-range combat with the SMG and shotgun. If it helps, Captain Boomerang plays a lot like Loba in Apex Legends.
King Shark is the easiest character to use. His kit revolves around charging at enemies, hitting them with melees, and lighting them up with close-range weapons like the mini-gun. Like Captain Boomerang, King Shark doesn’t have any abilities that keep him in the air for an extended period of time, but getting around is no issue.
Deadshot is similar to Harley Quinn in that he can stay in the air for a long time, offering support from the skies. This is great for sniping and using the assault rifle. If you like being above the action, Deadshot it the character for you.
If you don’t know what playstyle you prefer, make sure you know how to switch between characters so you can experiment with everyone. I recommend doing that in the beginning to get a grasp of which one or two you want to main.

My favorite character in Suicide Squad is Captain Boomerang because I find his teleporting traversal very fun and playing with the shotgun is awesome. All the characters are fun, just make sure you’re using Soal Squad to get better gear and levels while you’re offline.
