Lords of the Fallen features six stats for you to upgrade, allowing you to build your character as you wish. If you want a build that performs better in melee, then you’ll want to invest heavily into strength. if you want a build that performs better in ranged combat, then agility will be more your style. But what about Radiance?

What is Radiance in Lords of the Fallen?

Radiance in Lords of the Fallen represents the antithesis to Adyr and his armies of evil. Representing all that is good and holy, Radiance allows you to really tap into the holy and righteous magic to dispatch your foes the way Orius intended.

You can improve this stat when you level up at a Vestige or even a Seedling. Like all level ups, all of your defences will increase a little. But you’ll notice that upgrading the Radiance stat also increases your mana. This is because this stat is mostly used for builds using Radiance or Umbral magic.

All uses for Radiance in Lords of the Fallen?

When you upgrade your Radiance, you will have access to more powerful Radiance and Umbral Catalysts, more powerful Radiance and Umbral spells, and more powerful Radiance weapons. Having a strong Radiance build will allow you not only powerful spells, but also access to a higher pool of status effect and buff spells that other schools of magic. This is an especially great build for supporting other lampbearers, as you can buff and heal them whilst fighting off invaders.

Like with any stat upgrade, your defences and certain resistances will increase, although it will improve your holy and wither defences more than other stats. Note that with the Umbral items, you also need to upgrade your Inferno stat.

Also, with each Radiance level, you will unlock more lore hidden in the descriptions of certain items. So those who are well versed in the way of Orius will know more about the world. It is not worth deviating from your build simply to know a little more lore, but it is a cool feature that the enlightened will have more insight into the histories of Axiom.

I hope this has cleared up any confusion surrounding Radiance, lampbearer, and I hope it serves you well in your journey. For more Lords of the Fallen help, warp over to PC Invasion.
