Kuro Kurenai, the only VShojo male Vtuber, is currently on a brief break. He noted that he will return to streaming as usual on January 8, 2024.

Kuro did not offer an explanation for the brief absence. However, he did note in his statement that he’ll explain upon returning. Note that this announcement also came around the 2023-2024 holiday season and happened on New Year’s Day.

While the VShojo member is on a streaming break, it seems it isn’t a complete content blackout. On January 2, 2024, he took to social media to tweet and check in with his fanbase.

It's been 1 day!
How are you guys?

Kuro joined VShojo as a Vtuber back at the end of September 2023. Following his debut, he explained how encounters with Ironmouse and CEO Justin “Gunrun” Ignacio led to his joining the company. He streams on Twitch, with many of these being chatting or gameplay streams. One of his most recent ones before the break was also a collab with Shoto and Holostars Vtuber Gavis Bettel where they played Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa’s Rampage. However, he also has a YouTube channel with videos as well.

Kuro Kurenai will return to streaming on January 8, 2024, with updates appearing on his social media account.
