Velocity Gaming Revealed as Eighth and Final Franchise in Skyesports Masters

Velocity Gaming (VLT) has been announced as the last franchise to join Skyesports Masters. This league marks India's first franchised CS:GO competition, where eight elite teams will vie for the impressive prize pool of INR 2 Crore.

The highly anticipated tournament is divided into two significant stages: the League stage and the LAN Playoffs. Spanning multiple weeks from July 8 to August 17, the League Stage will witness the eight teams engaging in a double round-robin format. Only the top four contenders will advance to the Playoffs, scheduled to take place on Aug. 26 and 27, held in a LAN setting.

Velocity Gaming Unveils its CSGO Roster  

Velocity Gaming's entry into the Skyesports Masters was greeted with excitement and anticipation by gaming enthusiasts nationwide. The organization's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) roster consists of two veteran foreigners and players scouted from the Skyesports Masters cafe qualifiers:

  • Dipayan “MaChOleleR” Das

  • Tamajit “Logan” Ghosal

  • Keven “KevinR” Ross Russel

  • Muhammad “Syahhftw” Shyarul Daneal Bin Arif

  • Thomas “TAV” Kurian

  • Nairit “L0sttt” Banerjee

  • Bodhisattwa “The_Guru” Panday

Notably, the addition of KevinR, an experienced veteran from the United States who has competed professionally since 2004, brings valuable expertise to the team. Syahhftw, hailing from Malaysia, adds more international flair to the roster. The remaining members of the lineup have secured numerous top-three finishes in multiple tournaments.
