Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) India Rising Series 2024 Week 1 Finals has concluded with seasoned teams like iQOO Soul, Team Tamilas and Gujarat Tigers dominating the event. Upcoming teams like Marcos Gaming, Hydra Esports and Team Forever also showed consistent performances. iQOO Soul was the winner of the Week 1 Finals.
Rudra “Spower” from iQOO Soul and Wixxky from Gujarat Tigers dominated the finish leaderboards with 24 and 23 eliminations respectively.
The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 Weeks 1 and 2 will see 24 teams competing for a spot in the Grand Finals.
Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024 Week 1 Finals Overview
The seasoned squad of iQOO Soul showed aggressive gameplay and placed at the top of the table with 140 points and four chicken dinners. Hydra Esports placed second and got 114 points and two chicken dinners. Team Tamilas placed third and got 110 points along with three chicken dinners. Gujarat Tigers placed fourth and got 92 points, 70 of which came via finishes. Marcos Gaming placed fifth and secured 79 points.
Enigma Gaming placed sixth and secured 68 points along with one chicken dinner. Team Forever placed seventh and got 63 points. GenxFM Esports placed eighth and got 63 points. WindGod Esports placed ninth, showed aggressive gameplay and grabbed 52 points, 46 of which came via finishes. Gods Reign placed tenth with a good mix of finish and placement points and scored 51 points with one chicken dinner.
This is the prize pool distribution for the Week 1 Finals:
1st place (iQOO Soul) - INR 1.5 Lakhs.
2nd place (Hydra Esports) - INR 1 Lakh.
3rd place (Team Tamilas) - INR 75,000.
4th place (Gujarat Tigers) - INR 25,000.
5th place (Marcos Gaming) - INR 25,000.
MVP (Rudra “SPower”) - INR 25,000.

The Week 1 Finals was dominated by upcoming teams like Team Forever, Marcos Gaming and Hydra Esports along with seasoned teams like iQOO Soul, Team Tamilas and Gujarat Tigers. Some of the experienced teams like Godlike Esports, Carnival Gaming and Team XSpark Gaming were unable to show consistent performances and were placed in the second half of the points table.
