Day 1 of Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Week 1 qualifiers has concluded with seasoned teams dominating the event. Experienced teams like Team XSpark, iQOO Soul and Gujarat Tigers dominated Day 1 of the event.
Team XSpark placed at the top of the table with 54 points, 40 of which came via finishes. iQOO Soul placed second with 51 points and two chicken dinners. Hydra Esports placed third and got 37 points and one chicken dinner. Gujarat Tigers placed fourth and got 37 points and one chicken dinner. Team 8Bit placed fifth and secured 35 points and one chicken dinner.
The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 Weeks 1 and 2 will see 24 teams competing for a spot in the Grand Finals.
Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024 Week 1 Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel: iQOO Soul secured a massive 27 point chicken dinner. Rudra “Spower” from iQOO Soul was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 7 finishes. Team Tamilas placed second and got 13 points. Team XSpark placed third and scored 12 points. WindGod Esports and Hydra Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 9 and 8 points respectively. Entity Gaming and Uprising Rivals were eliminated early without scoring any points.
Match 2 Miramar: WSB Gaming secured a 22 point chicken dinner. Zeref from WSB Gaming was the MVP of the match with 4 finishes. Godlike Esports placed second and got 13 points. Enigma Gaming placed third, showed good rotations and got 12 points. Gujarat Tigers and Gods Reign placed fourth and fifth and got 7 points each. Global Esports and Carnival Gaming were eliminated early without any points.
Match 3 Erangel: Hydra Esports grabbed a 19 point chicken dinner. Team XSpark placed second and got 18 points, 13 of which came via finishes. Harsh “Spraygod” Malik from Team XSpark was the MVP of the match with 6 solo finishes. Team Tamilas placed third, showed aggressive gameplay and got 14 points. Carnival Gaming and Team Aaru placed fourth and fifth got 10 points each. Gods Reign was eliminated in the initial stages with just 2 points.
Match 4 Miramar: iQOO Soul secured its second chicken dinner of the day with 16 points. Medal Esports placed second and got 11 points. Team Forever placed third and got 10 points. Team 8Bit placed fourth and scored 9 points. Team XSpark placed fifth and got 8 points, all coming via finishes. Harsh “Spraygod” Malik from Team XSpark was the MVP of the match with 6 solo finishes. WindGod Esports and Uprising Rivals were eliminated with 1 point each.
Match 5 Erangel: Team 8Bit grabbed a 19 point chicken dinner. Enigma Gaming placed second and got 14 points. Marcos Gaming placed third and secured 10 points. Team Zero and Godlike Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 9 points each. Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral from Godlike Esports was the MVP of the match with 4 finishes. Team Aaru was eliminated early without any points.
Match 6 Miramar: Gujarat Tigers secured a 26 point chicken dinner. Nishant “Apollo” from Gujarat Tigers was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Team XSpark placed second and got 16 points, 11 which came via finishes. Gods Reign placed third and got 13 points. Marcos Gaming and Team Forever placed fourth and fifth and got 6 points each. WSB Gaming was eliminated early with zero points.
