Everybody’s favourite hot tub streamer Amouranth has been banned yet again from Twitch. However, the reason remains unknown.

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa is most well known for her hot tub escapades on Twitch. Being one of the platform’s top-viewed streamers makes her one of the most talked about and this time she is making headlines following another ban.

Although the reasons for the temporary ban that took effect on May 4 are unknown, it hasn’t stopped viewers from speculating. However, with Amouranth’s track record, it is perhaps no surprise that she is facing another suspension.

With over six million Twitch followers as well as a massive following across her Instagram and Youtube accounts, Amouranth has made quite the name for herself. Perhaps most known for her hot tub streams (that have earned her a ban before), she has a loyal following that come to view her Just Chatting streams.

Here they can see her rating viewers in ‘Smash and Pass’ games, live-streaming her dates and playing the occasional video game. However for fans of hers, her main Twitch channel is currently unavailable.

Reason for the ban

The ban was spotted by Dexerto and highlighted the streamer’s first ban since October 2021. Although this isn’t her first ban, it is a rare occasion when viewers are unsure as to what caused it. As of writing this, her channel shows the “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service” alert.

Despite no confirmation from Amouranth herself, it is worth noting that she hadn’t gone live since May 1. This could hint to the fact that something against terms of service was found in a VOD (videos-on-demand). However, we are still unsure as to why Twitch issued the ban.

This hasn’t stopped fans from speculating with some people believing the ban was due to threats of violence. It is rumoured that there is drama surrounding Amouranth and fellow streamer Adriana Chechik. This came to a head on April 27 when Amouranth announced she wanted to fight Chechik in the ring.

Although this could be referring to the Creator Clash, the annual charity boxing match that often sees streamers taking place, Twitch could have viewed it as a threat of violence. With this going against terms of service, it could perhaps explain the ban.
