Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek is one of the most well-known players from the Eastern Europe (EEU) Dota 2 scene after winning The International 10 (TI10) with Team Spirit. However, after winning TI, the player eventually transitioned into a support player and joined BetBoom Esports. Despite not being initially invited to Dreamleague Season 20, BetBoom has proven its worth, finishing second in their group during Group Stage 1 and currently sharing the top spot with PSG.LGD in Group Stage 2. In a recent post-match interview, TORONTOTOKYO sheds light on his thoughts about the most broken hero in the game and his shift to the support role.

Torontotokyo's take on the most broken hero

Patch 7.33d was recently released, tweaking many items and heroes, and fixing gameplay issues. The changes seemed to have an impact as some heroes got weaker, while others seemed to have been buffed. In a post-match interview, TORONTOKYO talks about who he thinks is the most broken hero in the patch right now.

“Yea I played a pub game today with rank 1000 players and I had my Broodmother, Snapfire, and Magnus, and they were really farmed, but Morph was unstoppable right now, its impossible to play against,” he said.

Transitioning to Position 5: TORONTOTOKYO's Insights

The TI winner also opens up about his decision to switch from the midlane to the position 5 support role. He expresses his ambitions of winning a second TI and acknowledges the need for a solid roster to achieve this goal.

“My goal is to win second TI, and when I think about winning 2nd TI, I know that I understand Dota really good and for me it would be harder to win a second TI as Pos 2 because I don’t see a really good roster I can make or I can play in and there is no good pos 5 players on CIS region. We needed like 2nd Miposhka,” he stated.

TORONTOTOKYO’s post-match interview offers valuable insights into the current patch in Dota 2, highlighting Morphling as the most broken hero. Moving forward, BetBoom's impressive performance solidifies its position as a formidable competitor in Dreamleague Season 20 as the TI winner showcases his adaptability as a player. With TORONTOTOKYO's expertise and the team's determination, the team will continue to aim for success at the tournament despite being a backup for Execration.
