The proceeds from these sales, about 50% of the profits go directly to the teams, are used to further make esports companies more efficient. The goal of this initiative is to continue the tradition of Riot Games of helping esports teams through sales of in-game items.
Last year, these profit-sharing VCT bundles brought in a total of $33 Million (~£26.1 Million) for partnered organizations.
