Aspyr Media has finally lifted the lid on some key details regarding Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft, confirming a slew of options for players both new and old.

PS5 & PS4 owners will be pleased to know that the collection, which features remastered version of Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II, and Tomb Raider III, will include over 200 Trophies to hunt down. Furthermore, there will be options for both classic and modern controls, so if you grew up playing the games in the 90s like myself and fancy a proper trip down memory lane, you can play them with Tank controls.

Elsewhere, the collection replaces flat 2D sprites that represent in-game pickups (keys, medi kits and other items) with full 3D models, which make them stand out more. Bosses meanwhile have been given health bars, so you can keep track of how much damage you have inflicted, and there’s a Photo Mode to capture all the environments and iconic moments as you take Lara around the world in her pursuit of hidden riches.

As revealed in the debut trailer, all three Tomb Raider games have brand new visuals that include real-time lighting effects, new models for Lara Croft and her enemies, and improvements to the game’s environments. Again, you can switch between the original PSOne visuals or the updated visuals at your desire.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is due out on February 14, 2024 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
