If you’re looking for new spooky experiences for your Sims, then EA has you covered as the latest expansion pack for The Sims 4 has been announced on their official news blog. On October 31, Life and Death will arrive so that your Sims can get acquainted with the end of life.

It’s still vague on what the expansion will be about, although we can assume it will be Halloween-themed due to its release date. Players can tune in on October 3 for a first look at the new pack, which should reveal many of the new gameplay features, new items, and more. Hopefully, we’ll even get some brand-new deaths for Simmers to try out.

Along with the new expansion, two new kits were also announced alongside, Storybook Nursery Kit and Artist Studio Kit. Both kits will be released on September 19, and all this new content is under the umbrella of the Season of To Be Continued. The season seems to be centered around the autumn months, with warm mugs of hot chocolate and tarot cards being the background for the announcement video. Very festive, indeed.

Players will also be able to enjoy a new event centered around the Grim Reaper, the Reaper’s Rewards Event. This event will begin on September 24, where players will assist the Grim Reaper and earn rewards for their hard work. More information on the event is expected to be released as the start date draws closer.

Players can also expect more free updates to come along during the season as well, for an on-going parade of new content to please fans. We don’t know much about these updates or when they are coming out, but seeing as how the Season of To Be Continued has already started, we can likely expect more news to come out soon.

The Sims 4 has been steadily releasing new expansion packs for years now since the game’s release in 2014, with the latest spicy Lovestruck expansion pack being released in July. The game shows no signs of slowing down even as development chugs along with Project Renee, the codename for The Sims 5The Sims 4 base game is available for free on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation now. If you’ve never given the series a shot, it’s a great time as ever to jump into the life simulator and get ready for some new spooky content.
