The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered PS5 Upgrade Path Detailed By Naughty Dog

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is launching later this month, so developer Naughty Dog has hit up Twitter to remind fans how to take advantage of the upgrade path available to existing owners on PS4.

Those of you who own the PS4 version of The Last of Us Part 2 will simply need to pop on over to the PlayStation Store on January 19 and cough up the $10 upgrade price to net you the PS5 version. If you’re a physical owner, insert the game into your console and you’ll be able to download the PS5 edition; all saves will transfer over to your shiny PS5 version to boot.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered arrives on January 19 and takes full advantage of Sony’s latest powerhouse console, offering improvements to frame rate and resolution, as well as a new No Return Mode and the Lost Levels. The latter is a chance to play prototype versions of scrapped stages including a boar hunt and a party at the community of Jackson.
