The First Descendant Touches Down on PS5, PS4 in Summer 2024

Promising free-to-play looter shooter, The First Descendant, made an appearance at The Game Awards, giving us a cinematic look at combat between a new Descendant and a terrifying Colossi. We were also rewarded with a release window: Look out for The Last Descendant on PS5 and PS4 in Summer 2024.

Nearly 2 million people took part in the Destiny-like's recent open beta on PS5, and we got a chance to spend some time with the game and came away impressed. Following the beta, developer Nexon Games will address the top-requested enhancements, which include (but are not limited to) cleaner UI, optimized graphics and greater mission variety.
