The 8 Qualified Teams for Riyadh Masters 2023 Group Stages

The Play-Ins of the Riyadh Masters 2023 have concluded, with 8 teams advancing to the Group Stages of the tournament.

Group A saw Team Aster and Team Liquid dominate, securing the Top 2 spots, while TSM won their decider series to advance as well.

Group B had Quest Esports and Xtreme Gaming leading the pack, while OG won their series 2-0, along with 9Pandas and Team Secret going the distance in a three-game best-of-three series to clinch their spots as well.

The Play-Ins of the Riyadh Masters 2023 have concluded, and the stage is now set for the Group Stages to begin. Eight teams have emerged victorious, securing their spots in the next phase of the tournament. 

Group A witnessed an impressive performance from Team Aster and Team Liquid, along with a surprising success story for TSM . Meanwhile, Group B showcased the rise of Quest Esports and Xtreme Gaming, and OG winning their decider 2-0. The group also had 9Pandas and Team Secret secure their positions through a close three-game in their respective best-of-three series.

Group A Qualifiers: Aster and Liquid dominate, TSM win decider

Team Aster dominated Group A, securing their position with a 2-0 victory over Team Liquid, who also qualified through a Top 2 finish. Along with these two teams, TSM had an impressive performance in their decider games, defeating the South American (SA) powerhouse,

TSM finished their decider series in a convincing 2-0 victory, even though Beastcoast put up a fight. In particular, Game 2 was an intense back-and-forth game that almost lasted 1-hour long. 

Group B Qualifiers: OG, 9Pandas and Team Secret move on

In Group B, Quest Esports and Xtreme Gaming stood out as the top contenders, securing their slots in the Group Stages. Apart from the two top teams of this group, OG, 9Pandas and Team Secret managed to clinch victories in their respective series to move forward as well.

The series between Entity and OG was closely contested. OG's tenacity and exceptional gameplay led them to a 2-0 victory. Game 2 was a one-sided affair, with OG dominating and ending the game in just 29 minutes.

The decider between 9Pandas and Virtus.pro was an intense three-game battle. 9Pandas managed to pull through on the back of stellar performances of Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov.

Similarly, the match between Team Secret and Execration also extended to a three-game series. The series saw Remco "Crystallis" Arets step up with dominant performances to carry his team to victory.

With the Play-Ins stage concluded, the focus now shifts to the Group Stages which begin on the 21st of July. This stage will bring together the top eight teams from the Play-Ins and another eight teams that secured direct qualification. 

With the conclusion of the Play-Ins, the qualified teams for the Riyadh Masters 2023 Group Stages have been determined. The eight triumphant teams, including Team Aster, Team Liquid, TSM, OG, Quest Esports, Xtreme Gaming, 9Pandas, and Team Secret, are now set to face off against eight directly qualified teams. 

As the Group Stages unfold, fans will be treated to some of the best Dota 2 that has been seen this year, as teams battle it out for the championship title and a massive $5,000,000 first-place prize.
