TEKKEN 8 reveals roadmap at EVO Japan, unveils next DLC and new story chapter

TEKKEN 8 has revealed their content roadmap at EVO Japan, and it includes Lidia Sobieski joining the roster and an upcoming new story chapter. The developers have also revealed that starting this Spring there will be adjustments made to the battle system to improve balance and the player experience. You can learn more below:

TEKKEN™ 8 revealed its upcoming roadmap at EVO Japan, announcing a new chapter to the game’s Story Mode in the works for future release, and the second DLC character, Lidia Sobieski, joining the roster this summer. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., TEKKEN 8 harnesses Unreal® Engine 5 to bring new weight and atmosphere to the game’s battles, with every character remodeled in stunning detail and new dynamic and destructible environments added to the game. Additional details for the roadmap for the game have also been revealed. Starting this spring, adjustments to the battle system will be made as the development team continues to work on improving balance and player experience. Players will receive a big free update this summer, including the “Seaside Resort” summer-themed stage as well as Photo Mode. In autumn, as another free update, a brand-new story will be added featuring Eddy Gordo. Also announced were additional modes Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice, which will be added at a later date.
