Bandai Namco has released its latest Tekken 8 gameplay trailer for your viewing pleasure, this time putting the spotlight on series veteran, Yoshimitsu.
As fans will recall, Yoshimitsu was one of the original characters featured in the very first Tekken game, and his appearance has changed dramatically over the years. The first few games the character was depicted in a relatively simple costume and mask, but these days he looks more like a samurai from another planet. He was a key character in the early days as he used a sword, which has seen become even more interwoven with his basic move set (it was originally used as his unblockable strike).
Tekken 8 has Yoshmitsu looking even more extravagant than normal, although there are shades towards his Tekken 3 design to be seen. Check him out below, which includes his new Rage Art.
Tekken 8 will receive a playable demo for PS5 tomorrow, and will come to PC and Xbox Series X/S on December 21. The full game will launch on January 26, 2024.
