Amit Dubey, the coach of Team Soul's BGMI lineup, recently shared his insights on countering aggressive teams in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). With the game's return, prominent teams like Blind Esports have showcased their dominance through relentless and aggressive gameplay, emerging victorious in multiple tournaments and boasting a higher number of finishes than other teams. To tackle this formidable challenge, Amit has developed a strategy that revolves around matching aggression with aggression.

Amit Says No Room for Defence Against Aggressive Teams

Team Soul, consisting of Sahil "Omega" Jakhar, Harsh "Goblin" Paudwal, Sohail "Hector" Shaikh, Akshat "AkshaT" Goel, Naman "Neyo," and coached by Amit, triumphed in Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series - Season 1. During a recent livestream, Amit highlighted the strategies Team Soul has adopted to counter aggressive teams. They have embraced the DBS shotgun, a valuable weapon in close-range combat. These adaptations have proven successful, securing Team Soul's qualification for the Skyesports Championship Series Grand Finals and a victory in IGL's Conquest Season 2.

According to Amit, it is unwise to play defensively against aggressive teams, as it only fuels their aggression further. Instead, he advises adopting an aggressive approach when facing such teams, engaging in 4-on-4 fights. This strategy ensures a 50-50 chance of success, with neither side holding a significant advantage. Amplifying aggression is the key to overcoming aggressive opponents.

Amit also noted that within Team Soul, only Omega and Goblin possess the requisite aggressive nature to match the intensity of aggressive teams. Their shared aggression allows them to effectively confront and combat such opponents. Furthermore, Amit hinted at an upcoming announcement regarding the new addition of Neyo to the team.

Team Soul plans to employ these strategies in various upcoming tournaments, including the rumored BGIS S2. This approach promises not only benefits for Team Soul but also for emerging players in the scene.
