Has lack of space become an issue?
It's become a yearly tradition for us here at Pure Xbox to ask the question of how well you're managing your Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S storage, and in 2024 it's become harder than ever to manage it effectively.
In 2023, 40% of all Pure Xbox voters told us that their internal storage was basically full on Xbox Series X, and 51% on Xbox Series S. Naturally, AAA games have continued to increase in size over the past 24 months, and we're willing to bet those figures will be even higher when it comes to the 2024 version of these polls.
The one saving grace might be the existence of the 1TB Carbon Black Xbox Series S, which came out last September. Nevertheless, the majority of Series S users in 2024 are still using the 512GB version (which actually ships with about 400GB of usable storage), and realistically that's an unfeasible figure for a lot of Xbox fans these days.
