Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 18th)

We all needed a quieter week after last week's Nintendo Direct blow-out, and that's exactly what we got. But don't worry, there's still plenty to talk about, and plenty of games on the horizon.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's big patch is coming soon, and we've got all of the patch notes for you. Xenoblade Chronicles 3's Wave 3 of DLC is out now too, with a brand new hero in Masha. And Modern Vintage Gamer is full of praise for the Switch's Game Boy and GBA emulation.

This week was, however, a busy week for reviews. Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is an incredible musical anniversary celebration of Final Fantasy; Blanc's beautiful visuals serve as the backdrop for a pleasant co-op game; and Octopath Traveler II (out next week) improves on the original to become one of the best RPGs on the Switch.

We've also ranked all of Samus' box art suits throughout the Metroid series, we're debating which Nintendo console has the best first-party library, and we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our favourite handheld — the GBA SP — by sharing our memories with the console.
