Stellar Blade Director Confirms Plans For Free Updates Including Costumes, New Game Plus

3 weeks ago 28

Kim Hyung Tae, the director behind Stellar Blade, has revealed that developer Shift Up is planning a series of free updates to the game that will include costumes and a New Game Plus mode.

The best bit? There’s no micro transactions planned and if they happen at all, it will only be as part of a costume collaboration with another company’s IP. Here’s what the Shift Up CEO had to say, as reported by ruliweb (via Genki on Twitter);

We want to make it clear at this point that Stellar Blade will not require any additional expenses that gamers are not aware of beyond what they paid for the package. The only exception is if we create collaboration costumes with another company’s IP, those may be sold for a fee. Also, there is no New Game+ in the launch version, so please look forward to it being updated very soon.
