Sony Confirms It Is Testing PSVR 2 Compatibility With PC For 2024 Launch

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it is in the process of testing PSVR 2 compatibility with PC.

Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, Gillen McAllister, Sony’s head of content communications, confirmed the news during a post celebrating the one-year anniversary of the PSVR 2 and revealing a bunch of new games.

Also, we’re pleased to share that we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5. We hope to make this support available in 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.

The PSVR 2 was in development for about six years and was worked on alongside the PS5. The device launched on February 22, 2023 at carries a price point of $549.99. One of the biggest improvements with PSVR 2 is the Sense controllers, which feature new functionality similar to that of the DualSense, including haptic feedback.
