Following the dismay shared by a roguelike fan on Reddit, reports have come forward revealing the difficulty of Slay the Spire. According to a screenshot sent by one fan of the game, the player recorded over 300 hours of gameplay in the game. However, in an unexpected twist, the player managed to scoop up only 7 wins altogether. Such an incident got many players of the game to hit up the comment section.

The post published by a Reddit user known as StarF on the space received a blast of comments. Most replies seem to agree that winning the game is a challenging mission. Several players came forward and reported to have relatively similar statistics.

Each player agreed that they had lower wins despite having high playtime. What's worse is that the players also record very high boss kills, a record that would rate players' games higher and award he victory with a win. However, kills doesn't seem to make the cut in Slay the SpireIn fact, most players have noticed that the win to kill ratio could be 1:100. What you may need to not is that this win: kill ratio simply stands for boss kills.

With such statistics at hand, many Slay the Spire players are in the dark wondering how to record more victories in the game. While some players seem to have given up, and stick for the experience, the solution is now public.

Since most players have more kills than wins, it could simply be a mistake in strategy here. It is possible that what most players are doing is focusing on heart kills. The game has a formula that suggests that players attack both the boss and heart or the boss alone for a win.

So did you know that attacking and losing the heart attack even after killing the boss in Slay the Spire doesn't count as a win? Let us know over our socials here or in the comments below.
