Rumor – Call Of Duty 2024 Could Still Arrive On Last-Generation Consoles

According to a report on Insider Gaming, Call of Duty 2024 — codenamed Cerberus — could arrive on last-generation consoles, despite rumours suggesting the multi-million selling franchise would drop PS4 and Xbox One with this year’s entry.

Documents obtained by the site contained references to past-generation consoles for Call of Duty 2024, although it notes that the references could be outdated. However, with Call of Duty now running off the same engine regardless of the studio, development is made more seamless as a result.

Nothing official has been announced on Call of Duty 2024 yet, and we’re still not sure yet exactly what this year’s entry will be like. Previous reports have suggested it will be an expansion to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, although Activision has only said that it will be a full premium release.
