Report Claims Call Of Duty Has Sold AI Generated Content Through In-Game Store

Tech outlet WIRED has put out a big report this week on AI in the video game industry - and that very report claims that Call of Duty has previously sold some AI generated content via the Modern Warfare 3 storefront.

The report also claims that by July 2023, Activision had "approved the use of certain generative AI tools in creating concept art and marketing materials", but no specific examples of this being put into practice were mentioned - outside of the above DLC pack.

We've heard about AI in lots of industries in recent months, so we're bound to see the topic crop up more and more in gaming over the coming years.
