9 months ago 231

In the dark and mysterious world of Remnant 2, there are many rare resources to be discovered, and one of the most valuable among them is the elusive Blood Moon Essence. As you traverse through the various missions and quests, you'll find that obtaining this precious resource can be quite challenging, leaving many players in the community confused about how to farm it effectively. In this guide, we will explore the methods to obtain and utilize Blood Moon Essence in Remnant 2.

Farming Blood Moon Essence in Remnant 2:

Blood Moon Essence is unique to the world of Yaesha, and it can be acquired in specific ways. Here are some methods you can employ to gather this rare resource:

  1. Blood Moon Orbs in Yaesha: The start area of Yaesha, where you first enter the region, seems to have a steady spawn of Blood Moon Essence. Look out for the distinct Blood Moon in the sky, indicating areas with a better spawn rate of the essence. Destroy the Purple Orbs floating around in Yaesha when the Blood Moon is out, and they will yield Blood Moon Essence.

  2. Forgotten Temple: After solving the Water Harp Puzzle and encountering the Root-corrupted Wolf, you will have the choice to spare or kill its rival, the Doe. If you choose to kill the Doe, the area outside the Forgotten Temple will become a reliable spawn point for Blood Moon Essence.

Remember that Blood Moon Essence is not a guaranteed drop, so you may need to explore and be persistent to gather a substantial amount.

Using Blood Moon Essence in Remnant 2:

Once you have accumulated enough Blood Moon Essence, you'll want to find the Blood Moon Altar in Yaesha. This altar looks like a small crafting station with a Blood Moon image and appears as a blue icon on the minimap.

At the Blood Moon Altar, you can exchange Blood Moon Essence for various valuable items, equipment, and even the Faded Grimoire. The Faded Grimoire is essential for unlocking the Summoner Archetype in the game, a powerful pet class that allows you to summon and sacrifice minions to wreak havoc on enemies.

To unlock the Summoner Archetype, you'll need 15 Blood Moon Essence, along with 1,500 Scrap and five Lumenite Crystals. Once you have the necessary items, head to Ward 13 and interact with Wallace, the NPC who granted you your first archetype at the beginning of the game. Exchange the Faded Grimoire with him to receive the Tome of the Bringer, which will allow you to equip and use the Summoner Archetype in your adventures.
