While everyone is quick to gawk at visuals in a video game, sound design is just as important in creating an immersive atmosphere to ground you within that game’s reality. This year, Final Fantasy XVI stood out in that respect, which is why Square Enix’s PS5 RPG bagged our Best Sound Design 2023 Award!
