PSG.LGD Adds Malaysian Offlaner Zeal to its Roster

Chinese esports team PSG.LGD has announced the addition of Nicholas "zeal" Lim to its lineup, replacing Li "xiang yu" Longwu who has been transferred out from the team. According to the official Dota 2 Majors registration page, the former Myth Avenue Gaming player will be competing in PSG.LGD in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) China 2023 Tour 2: Division I. He is expected to be the team’s new offlaner for this season.

Prior to the move to PSG.LGD, zeal secured a Top 3 finish with Myth Avenue Gaming in the Southeast Asian DPC 2023: Division 2.

PSG.LGD signs Nicholas "zeal" Lim as new offlaner for next season

Zeal is no stranger to the Chinese DPC Upper Division, having played for EHOME alongside current PSG.LGD members Lin "planet" Hao and Guo "shiro" Xuanang in the DPC China 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. The trio secured Top 6 finishes in the Upper Division of all three tours of the China DPC 2021-22. PSG.LGD will be hoping that his prior experience and synergy with his former teammates will help the team climb the ranks in the upcoming tournaments.

PSG.LGD's previous offlaner xiang yu was loaned to Invictus Gaming following the team's victory in the DPC China 2023 Tour 1: Division I league. PSG.LGD played with a stand-in Ren "old eLeVeN" Yangwei at the Lima Major 2023, but the team could only manage a 9th-12th place finish.

With the addition of zeal, PSG.LGD's new roster includes:

  • Guo "shiro" Xuanang

  • Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang

  • Nicholas "zeal" Lim

  • Lin "planet" Hao

  • Zhang "y`" Yiping (aka "WhyouSm1Le")

Zhang "xiao8" Ning will continue to serve as PSG.LGD's coach, providing guidance and support to the team as it strives to achieve greater success in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. Fans of the team will be eagerly awaiting the next Tour to see how the new lineup performs.
