PS5 Sales Are Up 376% Over Last Year As Sony’s Console Tops European Hardware For November 2023

The latest European sales data has revealed that PS5 was the big winner for the month of November 2023, with sales up a massive 376% from the previous year.

This period included Black Friday obviously, which as previously reported in the UK gave the PS5 its biggest sales week outside of the launch period. In terms of accessories, the PS5 DualSense was the best-selling product thanks largely to the huge spike in PS5 sales.

One key point to note is that this is the first Black Friday period that the PS5 was available since it launched back in November 2020. Sony’s console has ben plagued by stock shortages since release, which last into late 2022.

Overall, November saw 1.3 million hardware units sold during the four-week period across European regions (note that data is missing Germany and the UK), which is up 59% over the same period last year.

It was recently reported that the PS5 was the best-selling hardware unit in November for the US market in terms of unit and dollar sales.
