PS5 Pro Talk Was Reportedly Buzzing All Around Gamescom 2024

We’ve heard time and again from everyone but Sony that a PS5 Pro is incoming. Now we can add Gamescom 2024 as another instance of non-official confirmations of the consoles existence to the pile, according to a new report.

Wccftech corroborated what Italian publication Multiplayer said, that developers at Cologne were all talking about the coming console and how they’re working with it.

Based on both reports, it seems pretty clear that developers are already working with dev kits or are about to start working with them for the coming PS5 Professional, which could be some indication that we’ll actually hear about it from PlayStation sometime soon.

Of course, whatever ‘soon’ means here we can’t know, though it’s worth noting that we’ve consistently had a showcase of some kind from PlayStation in September for the last few years, so it could really be a case of we’re just weeks away from its proper reveal.

In any case it would be great to see it come down the pipeline sooner than later, so we can start to hear official, definitive facts about the console rather than leaks and speculation.
