PlayStation Showcase Reportedly Happening Before E3, Will Set Up Next Phase Of The PS5

Jeff Grubb has revealed on the latest Game Mess Decides podcast that Sony is preparing a major PlayStation Showcase for some point before E3 2023, which is going to be setting up the next phase of the PS5.

They’re saving the good stuff for the PlayStation Showcase that’s gonna happen before E3, it was supposed to happen last fall but they kept pushing it back because their developers weren’t ready. But now those developers are ready, they should have a massive show that will set up the next phase of the PlayStation 5.

From the sounds of things there’s going to be a lot of stuff to get excited for at the PlayStation Showcase, although Sony itself hasn’t announced anything official on the event yet. Grubb is usually on point with this sort of thing, though.

Sony held its latest State of Play broadcast last night, where it revealed a bunch of new details on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and some new PSVR 2 content.
