Play Together, Haegin's social gaming platform, has taken the bold step to introduce a new pet type with the joy of young children and scorn of parents reading Christmas lists the world over as Pony-type pets have arrived. And it's not just one or two either, there is a grand total of 120 ponies! So let's dig in and find out more.

The new Pony Pets come in many varieties, such as the Donkey, Unicorn and even a Pegasus. And yes, there is a "Ponypedia" for those collectors among you to complete as you gather more and more of these equestrian acquisitions.

Completing this immense tome gives you the chance to unlock special rewards like the Pony Costume, Super Premium Card Vault and more. Acquiring a special Pony pet will also grant you Gems. Naturally, there's a host of new cosmetics like the Riding Jacket or Ponytail to grab as part of this update and a bunch of new missions.

It's certainly interesting to see the inclusion of pets like this come in such a grandiose way. But no doubt this has been a long time in the running if even a fraction of those 120 ponies are unique. Personally, I'd be surprised if anyone does manage to grab all of these pets, but I suppose the lure of those promised rewards must be quite tempting.
