Persona 6 Has Reportedly Been Delayed Internally, ‘Zero Chance’ Of It Releasing In 2023

Atlus has internally delayed Persona 6 this week, which means there’s “zero chance” of the game launching this year.

That’s according to ResetEra’s Im A Hero Too, who has a prolific record of leaking details on various Persona-related projects. Regardless, it’s best to take their info with a pinch of salt for now, as nothing is official.

With that in mind, here’s what they had to say in a thread discussing what fans expect from Persona in 2023:

Absolute zero chance 6 releases this year. It was delayed internally just yesterday and there is a rough timeframe but can’t share, sorry. Could be to release remake first or the other game but I’m not privy to that info. If the teaser is at Sony’s next show, I’ll know beforehand and confirm.

Atlus has been keeping details on Persona 6 close to its chest, and hasn’t actually officially announced any details on the game yet. Back in January 2022, it was reported the game would be a PS5-exclusive release, although again, that’s just a rumour.

Persona 6 is currently in development for as-yet unspecified platforms and a release date has yet to be confirmed.
