Orangutan put forth consistent performances in The Patriot Cup BGMI Grand Finals and was crowned champion.
Wizzgod from Orangutan was the MVP of the event with 42 finishes and he also took home the award for the same.
Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) The Patriot Cup provided the fans with action packed battles. The Grand Finals of the event saw intense fights across the four days and Orangutan emerged as one of the most dominant teams to be crowned as the champion of the event. The event introduced a new points system and Orangutan was able to adapt to it and amass over 144 finish points out of its total 220 points.
Orangutan took home a sum of INR 2.5 Lakhs. Team Tamilas placed second and got INR 1.5 Lakhs. AutoBotz Esports placed third and received INR 1 Lakh.
The event also had other special awards for individual performances. Faraz “Wizzgod” Khan was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the event with 42 finishes and he also took home the award for the same along with a sum of INR 50,000.

Orangutan placed at the top of the table with 220 points including 5 chicken dinners and 144 finish points. Team Tamilas was inconsistent in the Semi Finals but it did also put forth good fights and got 181 points and 2 chicken dinners. The upcoming squad of AutoBotz Esports was able to grab the third spot with 157 points and 3 chicken dinners.
Reckoning Esports placed fourth and received 148 points along with 2 chicken dinners. Global Esports was placed at the fifth spot with 146 points and a chicken dinner. The upcoming squad of Chemin Esports put forth consistent performances and placed sixth with 144 points, including 2 chicken dinners. Hyderabad Hydras placed seventh with 133 points including 87 finish points. AeroBotz Esports placed eighth and received 132 points with 2 chicken dinners.

Overall the Upthrust Esports BGMI The Patriot Cup saw tough competition between seasoned teams like Orangutan, Team Tamilas and Reckoning Esports and upcoming teams like AutoBotz Esports, Chemin Esports and AeroBotz Esports. Some of the experienced teams like OR Esports, Medal Esports and Godlike Esports were unable to put forth consistent performances and were placed in the bottom of the points table.
