OG has announced that it is making a minor change to its roster for the upcoming Tour 2: Division 1 of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) 2023. The European team is swapping its coach Evgenii "Chu" Makarov (aka Chuvash) with captain Mikhail "Misha" Agatov for the next tour. The rest of the roster will remain the same as OG resumes its bid to secure enough DPC points to qualify for The International 2023 (TI12).

Chu Out, Misha In: OG's Roster Change for DPC WEU 2023 Tour 2

This decision does not come as a surprise to many OG fans, as the roster has underperformed in the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 1: Division 1. Considering the fact that Chuvash has already seen much success with most of the current OG roster at ESL One Malaysia 2022, this change could improve the team’s performance without ruining the dynamics within the team.

As a result of this swap, OG’s full roster for DPC WEU 2023 Tour 2: Division 1 will be:

  • Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev

  • Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov

  • Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin

  • Tommy "Taiga" Le

  • Evgenii "Chu" Makarov

  • Mikhail "Misha" Agatov (Coach)

With Misha at the helm as the captain of the OG lineup, the team managed to win the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I and secure multiple top 3 finishes at tournaments including the Riyadh Masters and the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final.

Chuvash has been with OG since December 2021, and during his tenure as a coach, he has helped the team secure multiple wins including ESL One Stockholm 2022 and the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division 1. He also helped the team secure the trophy at ESL One Malaysia 2022.

OG's decision to make this change has been met with positive reactions from fans who have been clamoring for a change in the European team’s lineup, with TI12 fast approaching. OG is currently in 24th place in the overall DPC standings with just 30 points and will need to buckle up in Tour 2 if it hopes to directly qualify for TI12.
