Tekken 8 Spotlights Ling Xiaoyu In Action In New Gameplay

Bandai Namco is continuing to spoil us rotten with yet another Tekken 8 trailer for your viewing pleasure, this time focussing on Ling Xiaoyu.

Ling was first introduced in Tekken 3 and features a very unique fighting style, and her Art of Phoenix stance allows her to avoid many high and even mid attacks. She’s a nimble fighter and looks to have gained some impressive new moves thanks to Tekken 8’s Heat system.

As fans will recall, Ling is particularly close to Jin Kazama, having went to the same school as him and the two have remained friends ever since. She’s also noted for having a pet Panda, who is a playable character in Tekken.

Ling’s Rage Art has been completely designed in Tekken 8, and like other characters we’ve seen so far, has new animations and win poses.

Tekken 8 is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S with a release date yet to be announced.
